JAM's Wii Grand Champion Rabbit 2010 Waushara County Fair

JAM 'N Buns Rabbitry  Central WI

Welcome to JAM 'N Buns Rabbitry.  We are a family rabbitry in central Wisconsin that, like many, got our start in rabbits with the intent of them being just 4-H project animals.   We started with one show quality and two pet quality Flemish Giants and headed off to the county fair.   By the time we left the fair that summer (2008) we had decided to add a Mini Rex jr torte buck (Michelle's main focus) and an American Fuzzy Lop jr buck (Alissa's main focus) and the intent of going into a commercial breed but we weren't sure what (Jarod's main focus).  Jarod now focuses on both Flemish Giant and Creme 'D Argent breeds.

From there it just took off.  We went to the Wisconsin State Rabbit Breeders Annual Convention 4 class show day just to see what this rabbit show thing was about.  A couple weeks later we attended the double youth show and the rest is history.  You can now find us at many of the shows in Wisconsin.  We needed a name for the rabbitry name so we came up with JAM 'N Buns (aka Jarod, Alissa, Michelle and bunnies).

Wow, where did our summer go?  Nationals is just around the corner and we have a TON of work to do before then.  I'm going to work on doing some new additions to this website over the next few weeks including updated pictures and other stuff.

August 20, 2010  Waushara County Fair - Grand Champion Rabbit - JAM's Wii  (pictured above)

Last year JAM's Nano took us to the Reserve title at the county fair, and now his full sister (different litter) took us up to the next step, Grand Champion Rabbit.

Pictured above (from left to right) Michelle, & Jarod with their Reserve Grand Champion Rabbit (JAM's Nano) at the Waushara County Fair 2009.  See the mini rex page for info on Nano.  UPDATE 9/14:  Nano was named BOSB Mini Rex at the 2009 WSRBA State Convention this past weekend (picture on th mini rex page).  GO NANNERS!

2/25/10  Nanner's did it again, earning the BOSB title at the Midwest Mini Rex Specialty show at Janesville WI on New Years Eve 2009!  That gives JAM's Nano enough legs for his Grand Champion title.
