In mini rex we currently have the following varieties:  black, broken, chocolate, otters in black and chocolate, torte and the newest addition castors.  We will add additional pictures as we get time to take them and get them loaded.

Rogers Ipod

Picture
Michelle pictured with her first mini rex buck, Rogers Ipod.  He has earned two legs so far, one BOV and one BOB (Central Wisconsin RBA - April 2009).  This little guy came home with us from our county fair as our first mini rex.  Thank you Laura & Hannah of TnH Rabbitry for allowing us to bring him home.  He has produced one litter so far with a beautiful broken torte buck (Nano) who has earned one BOV leg at the age of 4 months.  Ignore the date on the picture (our camera battery died and I forgot to reset the date on it, OOPS)

TnH's Vibe

Picture
Vibe is one of our foundation does.  I'm sure that in the dictionary under the entry for SPOILED it says see Vibe.  She is definitely the queen of the herd in her mind (and ours as well).  She also came from Laura & Hannah and is the mother to Nano. She is an awesome mother who just finished fostering a pair of creme d' argent babies from one of our does who had a litter of 10 this spring right along side three of her own.  The three in this litter include a nice broken black buck named Cupid due to a cupid shaped black patch on his side, and 2 nice blacks, one doe and one buck (both are waiting for names at this point).  There is a picture on the Creme's page of the litter still in the box.

JAM's Nano  (aka Nanners)

Picture
Nano is out of Vibe by Ipod.  This little buck we are really excited about.  He won his first leg at the age of 4 months (BOV).  He is one of the biggest attention hounds we have (follows in his mom's footsteps) standing on his hind legs at the door till he gets some attention.  This isn't a great picture of him as he was fighting me the whole time I was trying to get this picture.
Nanners wins again....

Waltman's Chocolate Chi

Picture
Chi is a new edition to our herd.  She has her permanent grand title and has produced multiple winners before coming to us.  We are planning to breed her to RB in the near future.  Check back for updates.  picture coming soon......

Kelly's LC (aka Twix)

Picture
This little doe is from Maple Kelly's rabbitry.  Twix is an amazing little doe with really nice clean ring definition.  She just turned Sr in July 2009 and already has earned 2 legs as a junior, one BOV and the other leg was a BOS.  She is the foundation doe from which we will be creating the JAM line of castors.  Thanks Maple for allowing us the opportunity to start our line with such a nice doe.  Twix is the proud mama to a litter of 5 (1 buck, 4 does).  We will be keeping the buck and 1 or two of the does.

Update:
Sadly we recently lost Twix.  Thankfully we have 2 does a the buck from her first litter, (of which one doe has already won a BOS at Union Grove this year) and we have a young pair from her second litter.

MS W19 (aka Star)

Picture
Star is a new edition and is a daughter of Waltman's Chocolate Chi (see above) by an Otter Delight buck.  Star went to the show table for the first time at the Central WI RBA show in November 2009 right after we bought her, and watched her win BOV and a leg her first time out.  She is a beatiful young lady with amazing otter factor.  Watch for her over the winter and next spring.   Photo coming soon......

TnH's R&B

Picture
RB was one of our original starter bunnies.  We were unsure how he would do to start with but he has matured out to a really nice otter.  He has earned 4 GC legs at this point, 2 BOSV and 2 BOV.  He was injured in March and we were unsure if he would be able to return to the show table, but in true RB style he has made a wonderful recovery and  headed up to the Indianhead RBA show with us Memorial Day weekend.  He did really well, unfortunately there weren't many otters (or mini rexes) at the show.  I'll get a better picture soon (hopefu.

JAM's MP3

Picture
MP3 is the full sister to JAM's NANO from the same litter (by IPOD out of VIBE).  She is maturing into a really nice doe.  We are planning on her going to WSRBA State Convention and then possibly breeding her.  I got this picture at the County Fair this year (2009).  Right after we gave her the frozen bottle to help keep her cool she knocked it down, rolled it over against her food bowl, and the proceeded to stand on it with her front legs while she ate.  What a character!  I'll add a couple other pictures as soon as I set up a gallery showing her actually reaching into the food bowl over the top of the bottle.  Guess she just wanted to stay cool.  SIDENOTE:  The ears on this doe are not that long, it is a weird picture that the flash caused some unusual shadowing on.
